Current Connection #3

In a recent article by Fox news, a widely viewed and respected news station, entitled 'Government Report on Secret Flying Saucer Programs Made Available' the author informs readers about a secret program by the Air Force to build a flying saucer and of the problems with the idea.
Neil Carmicheal tells us "The records have been classified probably since their creation during the '50's". Obviously, the records were meant to be very secretive and very important.
Also stated in the article, "The newly released documents...offer details on a cold war era plan to build a round, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that can only be described as a flying saucer". By that information they know that the design was meant for a vehicle during war and that explains why the information about this design was classified.
Although this sounds like a very useful invention, the design was not perfect. Carmicheal explains "Apparently, as it gained in altitude it would start to wobble uncontrollably". The saucer could not go high enough becase the machine could not handle the altitude.
Maybe a 'flying saucer' will be available for us one day but for now we just have to stick to cars, planes, and boats.
