Book Review - 13 Reasons Why

When I finished reading the book 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher it gave me a new perspective on my classmates and some of the reasons why teenagers commit suicide. This book was very powerful and everything I hoped it would be. I picked it up because I wanted more insight on why exactly a person could feel that depressed to take their own life, reading about Hannah's tapes was so emotional I wanted to cry by the end of the book. I recommend this book to everyone in Highschool including teachers. It made me realize how much people are affected by little things everyday that other people don't even notice. Once you start reading this book you will not be able to put it down until the very end.
