Building a new World Trade Center will show terrorists that even though they brought us down once America will always rise up again bigger and better than before. Also, the WTC sends a message that America is safer and better prepared for another attack.
The new building features a memorial to remember the victims of 9/11, and new safety features which will protect people in the building better in case of another attack. Examples of these new safety features are the elevators which go 23 mph, and the 3 feet thick concrete walls.
The new WTC is an act of patriotism because we are proving to the world that America can not be defeated.
